About Kim!
Kim Gasiciel is a mixed Latine, genderqueer and genderfluid (any pronouns are okay!), bi/pan, SAG-E voice talent and singer. She is currently splitting time between LA and Chicago, and is available to work locally in those markets, record remotely, and to travel elsewhere when needed.
As the youngest of 4 kids, Kim started looking for opportunities to be in the spotlight...pretty much immediately--performing in talent shows, church choir, and school productions. This quickly blossomed into a full-fledged love for arts and performance, and Kim spent her school years dabbling in everything from speech and debate to writing and directing. She attended University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2012-2016, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and an English minor. During this time, she was very active in acting, directing, and administrative work with student theater. She even founded her own Shakespeare company, directing a queer, gender-focused inaugural production of Hamlet. It was due to her theatrical exploits that she discovered her immense love of voiceover, and since then she has acted in a variety of projects, including video games, visual novels, anime, webseries, educational shorts, and audio dramas. As a queer, multi-ethnic, plus-sized individual (with severe asthma), Kim loves the freedom that voiceover brings to her life, and that she doesn't have to be defined by any one part of her background, identity, or personality.
Other than acting and singing, she loves hosting and playing trivia, reading weird speculative fiction, collecting knick-knacks, playing video and board games, trying new foods, all manner of tomfoolery, and maybe being a little pretentious sometimes.
